because I can't help but to feel unhappy here most of the time. I miss my friends, culture, my own culture, anonymity, city-life, my language, going to the movies, taking the dog out for a walk, good food, television, proper accommodation, real conversations, being hugged by a loved one, not feeling like a complete idiot all the time, feeling like I belong and the list goes on.
So far the only things I like about St Andrews are the ArtHistory course, scenery and that everything seems to be cheaper in Scotland than back home.And those things just aren't enough for me to like this place.

thanks for the watch (though there is nothing to watch)...I guess I could put some of the photos I have on facebook but those are just quick tourist shots so I might not bother... heh todays lecture was a pain! and he does talk awfully fast even in tutorials...most of the things I hear wrong are pretty amusing though, such as 'and then he popped a can of noodles on to the canvas' or 'this landscape was painted by a raccoon'...ok not that amusing but enough to get me through the lecture
